Who I am:
I’m Julianne Pepitone, a freelance multi-platform journalist with more than 15 years’ experience reporting and storytelling across just about every media format and topic. I began my career in newsrooms, working on staff at CNN Business and then at NBC News, covering consumer tech, cybersecurity, and business.
As a full-time freelancer since 2016, I’ve worked with an eclectic roster of clients about anything and everything that’s interesting. One hour I’m writing about nail polish for a magazine, and the next I’m taping a podcast about how AI is transforming health care. One day I’m moderating a conference, and the following I’m ghostwriting for an executive before heading off to a shoot.
I attended Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, where I graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and a University Scholar, Syracuse’s highest undergraduate honor.
What to know about working with me:
When I take an assignment, my clients know it’s not only as good as done, but done on time and to the highest standards. I research and report tirelessly. I file clean copy. I’m communicative and collaborative. I have never missed a deadline in my career (I was, I kid you not, voted “Most Reliable” in school). I’m also just plain nice!
